When I think of a bowl of chili I almost always think of red chili with kidney beans, but white chicken chili is also a fantastic option to put on the table. For this recipe, I used Perdue ground chicken, bone broth, Great Northern beans, Cannellini beans, a can of diced green chiles, three colors of bell peppers (red, orange, and yellow), and a generous helping of Paleo Powder to season it.
This Tried It Out Tuesday is all about giving Kettle & Fire’s Chicken Bone Broth a whirl! This was my first time trying it out. Keep reading to learn more about this amazing product.
The Ingredients For White Chicken Chili
For this white chicken chili, I went with Perdue ground chicken. I am a big fan of the Perdue line of chicken products. They are a brand with a promise and a commitment to using only chicken that is free of added antibiotics. Their chicken is fed an all-vegetarian diet. The chicken is also raised in a cage-free manner which is a big plus for me. I am always pleased with Perdue’s chicken products.
The white chicken chili recipe that I created uses two cans of white beans. I used a can of cannellini beans and Great Northern beans. Because I am a loyal Kroger shopper and I shop at Kroger once a week, I love their line of Simple Truth Organic items and I used their bean in my recipe. Simple Truth is a great way to save money all while still using organic ingredients. Their organic items are always reasonably priced and taste wonderful.
A great chili always needs to have bell peppers. This white chicken chili has three colors of bell peppers in it. I used red, orange, and yellow bell peppers in the recipe.
Gotta have my garlic! Garlic lends this chili a great flavor. I used two tablespoons in this recipe. You can add a bit more if you are a garlic-lover. I say you can never ever have too much garlic!
I topped my big bowl of white chili with my favorite brand of shredded cheese- Tillamook. I used their Shredded Mexican Cheese on top of my bowl of white chicken chili. This is a completely optional ingredient and topping. If you want to keep your bowl of chili dairy-free feel free to omit the cheese.

You might have heard some things about bone broth lately. It is gaining in popularity with the healthy eating crowd and for good reason. Bone Broth is packed full of nutrients that your body craves and gives your body a boost in collagen. Incorporating bone broth into your diet has many health benefits.
Benefits of consuming bone broth:
Aids in digestive health and heals your gut, accelerates weight loss (great for those on a keto or paleo diet and wonderful for those who do intermittent fasting), soothes inflamed joints and arthritis, improves quality of sleep, helps with a healthy pregnancy, improves hair, skin, and nails, and bone broth is even beneficial for your pets!
Each serving of chicken bone broth has 6 grams of collagen and 10 grams of protein. A serving size is one cup. Kettle & Fire simmers their bone broths for over 10 hours with herbs and spices to give it some added flavor. The longer the broth simmers the more collagen you are able to introduce to your body.
All of Kettle & Fire’s bone broths are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and non-GMO. These bone broths can easily fit into your paleo, keto, or Whole 30 diet. Their bone broth also is free of artificial flavors and ingredients. The animals used to create this bone broth are also free of hormones and antibiotics. You also will not find any preservatives in their bone broth.

I used Paleo Powder Pink in my white chicken chili recipe. The Paleo Powder Pink is my go-to seasoning for chili. This seasoning has Himalayan pink salt and all of the other herbs and spices that a great chili needs. I gave my chili and generous two tablespoons of Paleo Powder Pink and I hit the sweet spot with that amount. It was absolute perfection. I only added a few twists on my regular salt shaker to season the chili. This Paleo Powder is super convenient to have on-hand in the kitchen.
INGREDIENTS: Himalayan pink salt, chili powder, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, white pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper
