Looking for a delicious and nutritious bowl of chili to warm you up on a cold fall or winter day? Look no further than to this mouth-watering bowl of white chicken chili made with Kettle & Fire Chicken Bone Broth and Paleo Powder Pink seasoning. This recipe that I came up with turned out simply fabulous and that is why I am sharing it with you today. My little family of 3 joined the Clean Bowl Club and even got up for seconds… that’s just how great it is!

When I think of a bowl of chili I almost always think of red chili with kidney beans, but white chicken chili is also a fantastic option to put on the table. For this recipe, I used Perdue ground chicken, bone broth, Great Northern beans, Cannellini beans, a can of diced green chiles, three colors of bell peppers (red, orange, and yellow), and a generous helping of Paleo Powder to season it.

This Tried It Out Tuesday is all about giving Kettle & Fire’s Chicken Bone Broth a whirl! This was my first time trying it out. Keep reading to learn more about this amazing product.

Perdue Chicken

For this white chicken chili, I went with Perdue ground chicken. I am a big fan of the Perdue line of chicken products. They are a brand with a promise and a commitment to using only chicken that is free of added antibiotics. Their chicken is fed an all-vegetarian diet. The chicken is also raised in a cage-free manner which is a big plus for me. I am always pleased with Perdue’s chicken products.

White Beans

The white chicken chili recipe that I created uses two cans of white beans. I used a can of cannellini beans and Great Northern beans. Because I am a loyal Kroger shopper and I shop at Kroger once a week, I love their line of Simple Truth Organic items and I used their bean in my recipe. Simple Truth is a great way to save money all while still using organic ingredients. Their organic items are always reasonably priced and taste wonderful.

Bell Peppers

A great chili always needs to have bell peppers. This white chicken chili has three colors of bell peppers in it. I used red, orange, and yellow bell peppers in the recipe.

Minced garlic

Gotta have my garlic! Garlic lends this chili a great flavor. I used two tablespoons in this recipe. You can add a bit more if you are a garlic-lover. I say you can never ever have too much garlic!

Mexican Cheese

I topped my big bowl of white chili with my favorite brand of shredded cheese- Tillamook. I used their Shredded Mexican Cheese on top of my bowl of white chicken chili. This is a completely optional ingredient and topping. If you want to keep your bowl of chili dairy-free feel free to omit the cheese.

How I used Paleo Powder Seasoning in my White Chicken Chili

You are going to definitely want to give Paleo Powder a whirl and I will tell you why. These paleo-friendly seasonings deliver excellence to your meal. I used Paleo Powder Pink in my white chicken chili recipe. The Paleo Powder Pink is my go-to seasoning for chili. Instructions
  1. Wash all produce. Dice the bell peppers, Drain the cans of beans. Warm the olive oil in a large saute pan.
  2. Once oil is warm add the minced garlic and diced shallots. Cook this for a while then add the ground chicken. Season to taste with salt and white pepper.
  3. Add the bell peppers to the saute pan. Season it all with one tablespoon of Paleo Powder Pink seasoning.
  4. Once chicken is cooked and bell peppers are softened add to the slow-cooker. .
  5. Add in the cans of beans and green chiles, also add one carton of Kettle & Fire Chicken Bone Broth.
  6. Season with one more tablespoon of Paleo Powder Pink. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Set slow-cooker to low for 6 hours.
  8. Once 6 hours have passed serve, eat, and enjoy!
  9. Feel free to top this chili with Mexican cheese for a burst of added flavor. (Optional)
