Cranberry Apple Sauce (Slow-Cooker, Paleo)
This recipe is for a slow-cooker Paleo Cranberry Sauce with diced Honeycrisp apples and pecans. This sauce is completely sweetened with pure maple syrup. No refined sugars in this fresh cranberry sauce! This paleo cranberry sauce will be enjoyed at your next Thanksgiving Day feast or your Christmas dinner.

  1. Start out by pouring one 2lb bag of fresh cranberries into a slow-cooker. Set it on low for 6 hours.
  2. Zest one whole orange and place zest into the slow-cooker.
  3. Chop the orange in half and squeeze all of the juice out and place it in the slow-cooker.
  4. Pour maple syrup into the slow-cooker.
  5. Add the pecan pieces to the slow-cooker.
  6. Add the spices to the slow-cooker (cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and allspice).
  7. Give it all a good stir and incorporate all of the ingredients.
  8. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
  9. Serve, eat, and enjoy!

If you would like to make this sauce a bit sweeter, simply add more maple syrup or some coconut sugar.
