How I use CBD in my life – A little bit of my story
For me personally, I choose to use CBD to help with my ongoing battle with anxiety and depression. I have dealt with these problems in life for as long as I can remember. CBD helps alleviate these health issues for me. CBD does not make me high but what it does is CBD helps balance me out. When I feel anxiety or depression creeping in on me I use CBD to erase it all away.
Right now my primary use of CBD products is to help me battle through benzodiazepine withdrawal. I have been on Klonopin for seven years (prescribed by a doctor and never abused). I am currently almost done with my taper that I started in early October and I will be jumping off the med soon. I switched over to Valium for a smoother taper and I am currently on a dose that is virtually nothing (0.5mg of Valium).
Some people say to avoid CBD during benzo withdrawal and others will tell you that CBD is a miracle product for them. I am part of the latter. CBD is truly a miracle product for me. It aids in evaporating and dissipating withdrawal symptoms. Benzos are extremely hard to come off of and many will even venture to say that they are harder to kick than heroin. I feel grateful that I have CBD products on-hand and available to me to help me get off this hellacious medication that I was prescribed for way too damn long!

After some experimentation, I found that my sweet spot with dosage is 30-50mg. Please note that dosages will vary from person-to-person. What works for me may not work for you.

This dosage is perfect for me when I just need a tad bit of CBD. 10mg is a fairly small dosage. It might be a great starting point for someone who is going to give CBD a whirl for the first time. I think you will enjoy the taste of these CBD hard candies. What you do with these CBD candies is just place them in your mouth and let them dissolve if you want maximum potency.

CBD Caramels by Paradise 4-Pack
Never ever had a CBD caramel so this was a first for me and I really enjoyed these and would definitely purchase them in the future. If you love caramel then you are going to flip for these! These are each 10mg a piece. If you need something a little more potent, CBD Only also offers these as 50mg. I mention the stronger dosage caramels below. To consume these caramels simply place them in your mouth and allow them some time to dissolve. These are a great deal at $7.95 for a 4-pack.
CBD Gummies by Paradise 100mg
Paradise CBD High Dose Edible Single Hard Candy (50mg)
Each of these high dose edible hard candies contains 50mg of high quality extracted CBD oil. These edibles from Paradise are the perfect amount of CBD for when you need a higher dosage. My regular dosage of CBD is usually 30mg. Having a 50mg edible on hand is a great thing to have for when you need a bigger boost in relief. These lemon flavored hard candies are fun to consume and the lemon flavor is very pleasing.
One 5mg piece of CBD hard candy is going to $4.95 a pop. This is totally worth the price! The effects of these CBD hard candies will provide relief for several hours.
Since these are a higher dosage of CBD it is not advised to use 50mg as a starting point. The 10mg pieces mentioned earlier in this review would be perfect for the CBD virgin!
Paradise CBD High Dose Caramel Singles (50mg)
The high dose caramel edibles each contain 50mg of high-quality extracted CBD oil as well. These caramels make taking CBD a joy! The caramels have a very pleasant flavor.

I am really super duper curious about both of these products and I am sitting here dreaming about all of the wonderful CBD foods I could whip up in the Give It A Whirl Girl kitchen!
